Graphic Design Training in South Africa is aimed at training people
who have little or no graphic design skills who wish to
pursue a career in the industry. By the end of the week
they will have a good understanding of both the relevant
software and web design practices. The graphic / web
design course will cover best practices.

five day graphics course is designed to give trainees who
have little or no graphic design experience the skill set
to pursue a career in the design industry.
At the end of the course the
students will receive certificates of attendance.
Pre-requisites
Students must be computer literate although they do not need
any design experience.
Introducing you to the world of graphics (1 day)
Creating and altering standalone graphic formats.
Planning and constructing images in applications like
Corel draw and Photo shop.
Image cropping and blending.
Introduction to Video Production and Animation:
Methods and Technologies
Overview of 2D and 3D animation technologies:
Macromedia Flash, After Effects, 3D Shockwave.
Overview of video editing and special effects technologies:
After Effects, and Photoshop.
Introduction to current technologies: video standards,
streaming video and special effects
Scoping new project outlines project formats
At the end of this 1 day introduction you will be able to
scope and plan imagery in most graphics software
applications
Corel Draw 12 ( 1 day )
Learn how to design your own images, logos, altering existing images
and photo formats in Corel Draw. Preparing images for multimedia
design.
Corel Draw paint:
Overlapping ,cropping and blending textures.
Blending colours and backgrounds.
Creating 3D textured text and animated logos.
An excellent way to start off in graphic design.
Photoshop CS 2: (1 day)
Editing and managing your photographs, photoshop CS 2 is the right
application for you.
Create original images or modify photos using a full assortment of
painting, drawing, and retouching tools.
